Bertrand Management Group And How It Came To Be
The man behind the success of Bertrand Management Group can only be credited to the person who sits in CEO chair of the company. That is Mr. James Bertrand; he entered the industry as a very young person that is overflowing with ambitions in the late time of 1970’s. In this time span, he worked as a product engineer for General Motors Company which was located in Oshawa.
For over more than seven years, Mr. James Bertrand worked hard for the GM conglomerate and reaped his rewards with dozens of key promotions and one which had allowed him to spearhead a joint venture project between the new CAMI partners of GM, the Suzuki Motor Company. In the year 1986, the company has come to a decision to have Mr. James to be relocated in New York with the hopes of further benefitting the GM conglomerate with his efficient leadership skills and much valued integrity.
He worked in the office of the Treasurer for over a year and here, he was able to impress his superiors that he was provided the task of leading the company’s financial analysis department overseas. In a while, Mr. Bertrand was also given yet a new promotion and this time, he was promoted to become the Analysis and Business Development Director. In the year 1979, the future Bertrand Management Group was relocated once more. He moved to Zurich, Switzerland to work for the Branch of GM conglomerate. Here, Mr. James Bertrand was given the title of the Planning Director and Financial Analysis to be effective in the Gm Europe branch. In Europe, he stayed for almost more than a decade also, he received another promotion when he was transferred somewhere in Germany in order to work as a comptroller in Adam Opel AG.
In the year 1995, the founder of Bertrand Management Group Ontario Ca ventured a new chapter of his life as he was again relocated to the new offices of the General Motors in Beijing, China. In this branch, he was made as the Business Development Executive Director; this position has made him to be the one responsible for the introduction of General Motor’s small car line to the Chinese Market. The task that was given to him was very hard, but he proved himself once again by giving his best performance. For this reason, the company’s Asia Pacific arm has made him a member of the Vehicle Strategy Board.
